if you are going to provide flappy paddles, limit steering wheel angles to 180 degrees, or mount them on the steering column.

Well, for me i hope they stop putting those things everywhere.
My cousin's brand new JDM oddysey has a 7-speed Paddleshift gearbox. Who the hell need a paddleshift in a minivan?

It is perfect, every person who has had to settle on a minivan gets that one glimmer of hope that their purchase wasn't 100% compromise.

Well, the trouble is the paddle shift is not really good for city driving. I rather have a CVT than a paddleshift for my minivan.

Yeah, so does my girl's honda Fit RS.
6 Speed Paddleshift CVT.

Oooh fancy, a six speed cvt? Subaru only has 5 speed cvts lolz

Yeah, it's six.
I actually surprised when i tried that out. like:
"How on earth car this small has so many gears?"
Yes the new 1-series has 8-speed, but i haven't driven that thing.

I was confused why they would limit a cvt to 5 speeds with the flappy paddles, hell they could have made it 8 or even a selectable number of gears.

yeah, since it's a Simulated gearbox anyway.
I would love a 12-speed gearbox like a Scania lorry :D

I guess they just don't understand OPPO shifting.
